Arthur Warren Nordfors, III is the principal and visionary behind Nordfors Architecture. Having graduated with both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Architecture degrees, Warren has a diverse history working in multiple firms and in different disciplines.

 

Years of living, visiting and working in England, France, Japan and Italy often informs his design style in subtle and innovative ways. As a result, a focus of his work is to retain the beauty, quality and integrity of existing buildings, while introducing new materials and functionality – breathing new life and purpose to the structures.

 

For over thirty years, Warren has delivered a wide variety of architectural services to private homeowners as well as public clients, including high-end luxury residential, renovations, additions, multifamily, adaptive reuse, medical, retail, commercial, institutional, manufacturing, restaurant, hotel and laboratories. Clients include Johnson & Johnson, Dow Jones, Church & Dwight, American Cyanamid, International Flavors & Fragrances, David Sarnoff Research, Knoll, Princeton University, DKM Properties, Roebling Wire and Rope, Sherman WIlliams and Dutch Boy Paints.

 

Although much of Warren's work is concentrated in and around New Jersey, it is also found in Colorado, Martha’s Vineyard, New York, Texas, Ohio, Florida and North Carolina, as well as abroad - in the Caribbean, Philippines, Taiwan and the Czech Republic.

 

A lifelong New Jersey resident, Warren has been heavily involved with rebuilding the New Jersey Shore in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy in October 2012. House lifts, home renovations and additions to make homes FEMA compliant have become specific areas of interest and expertise for the firm.

 

Warren is a licensed practitioner in his home state of New Jersey, as well as in North Carolina, and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects.
